Mortification
Sin either prevails or is prevailed upon.
Saturday, January 5, 2008
Let the chips lie where they fall.
May God forgive those of us who so easily loose sight of the truth.
And May God rip out the Heresy of the 'health and wealth
gospel' from withing our American Churches. May we not be called
the American Church, but the redeemed people of God. Those who are bought
with the price, namely, the death of Christ. Those who look for a heavenly
kingdom, not an earthly one. Those who love God more then all the earthly
things that can be extolled on them. And those whom bear the name of Christ
in the hard times, not just in the times of plenty...
"For in whatever state I'm found: rich, poor, healthy, sick, happy or sad...
May I glory in my redeemer. He is enough."
